The Queen of Ocean Beach!
As gremmies hanging along the wall, Carol would have us bring firewood, cleanup the beach, and lecture us to stay away from heavy drugs, eat clean and healthy, and respect the ocean and all it's creatures. She was truly the only adult in the room in those days. She took in all the girls who wanted to step out of their comfort zone and catch waves at Kellys Cove, and showed them what Dottie had shown her when she was just a girl on the beach, wanting more out of life.
